Hi, I’m leighton.

I am a mother, an agriculturalist, an Ayurvedic Wellness Coach, and a student of life. My journey has been one of deep transformation, both physically and spiritually. I’ve walked through the struggles of chronic health issues and found my way to healing—ultimately guiding others along their own paths toward balance, fertility, and wellness.

My fascination with natural medicine began in childhood, as I spent my days exploring the wilderness behind my house, creating potions, and immersing myself in nature's magic. As I grew, I expanded my practices—wild-harvesting herbs, brewing kombucha, and crafting my own natural beauty products.

But despite my early love for holistic health, I still found myself grappling with intense health struggles. I was plagued with cystic acne, food sensitivities, asthma, and later, the heart-wrenching diagnosis that I may never conceive a child and would need to rely on birth control for the rest of my life to control my endometriosis. Add to that the struggles of adult cystic acne and severe food intolerances, and I felt like my body was constantly rebelling against me.

Despite my dedication to herbal medicine and self-care, I wasn’t addressing the root causes of these imbalances. It wasn’t until I ventured to the southern reaches of the world, in Patagonia, that my healing journey truly began to take shape.

My Philosophy & Approach:

In Patagonia, I connected with the world of ancestral foods, and it was there that I truly found the path to healing. I learned to trust the wisdom of nature and honor the cyclical nature of our bodies as women. We are inherently in tune with the rhythms of the earth—changing, evolving, waxing, and waning just as the world around us does.

It was in this connection to nature and the understanding that nourishment is my birthright that I began to heal. Just as the seeds in my garden are nurtured, just as the animals on the land are fed, I too needed to nourish my body in a deep, holistic way.

Through this process, I learned that healing isn’t always linear or complete, but it is always ongoing. It’s about honoring the layers of health that need tending, supporting the body in ways that feel aligned, and working toward balance. My journey from chronic health struggles to motherhood has shaped the way I now guide other women. I’ve walked the hard road of healing, and I know how important it is to go slow, listen to the body, and trust in the process.

How I Can Help

Today, I specialize in supporting women through chronic health issues, fertility struggles, pregnancy preparation, and the challenges of motherhood. But my work goes beyond just "fixing" symptoms—it’s about rekindling our connection with the kitchen, with the rhythms of nature, and with the sacred wisdom of our own bodies.

I believe in the power of food as medicine—not in the trendy, quick-fix way, but in the deep, ancestral sense. The meals we prepare, the ingredients we choose, and the rituals we bring into our kitchens hold the power to nourish not just ourselves but also our families. This kind of nourishment runs deeper than any supplement or pharmaceutical ever could.

I also work with menstrual cycle literacy, helping women understand how their cycles are speaking to them. Every shift, every symptom is a message—a sacred guide rather than something to suppress. When we learn to read these signs, we gain insight into our Vikruti, our current doshic balance, and can begin to address the root cause instead of silencing our bodies' wisdom.

My approach to coaching is all about tuning into the subtleties, listening to what the body is whispering (or sometimes shouting), and using that knowledge to guide healing. Enough of ignoring or masking symptoms—it’s time to work with them, to honor them, and to transform them into our greatest teachers.

  • “Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature—the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter“

My Approach

No more fad diets and over-restricting. It’s time we learn to tend ourselves like a garden, with love and care. Digestion is the seat of our health, thus we must heal our gut. Then we must nourish ourselves deeply.

ancestral foods

Ancestral foods are foods that we are biologically designed to consume, and that are deeply nourishing and healing by nature. I use foods that help us heal the gut to initially heal sensitivities and that give us potent and easy-to-digest nutrients. These foods are especially important in preparing for pregnancy, the postpartum time, and during lactation.

Ayurvedic medicine

Ayurveda seeks to relieve the suffering in our bodies and achieve radiant health so we can live this life as our highest self. By diagnosing our elemental imbalances (i.e. your Dosha), we can use lifestyle and culinary tools to bring us back to balance. Each body is unique and no one approach works for everyone. Ayurveda provides us with the tools to create a healing plan for your specific body and season of life.
